The Tarde Section of the Consulate General in Sydney has as its main functions the identification of business opportunities for Argentine companies, as well as attracting investments to our country.
In this task, it works in close collaboration with our Embassy in Canberra and under the guidelines and coordination of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
MAIN SERVICES PROVIDED TO ARGENTINE COMPANIES
- Commercial Intelligence: preparation of market profiles and special product reports that may have opportunities in this market. Support for exporters: monitoring agreements, liaising with counterparts, facilitating meetings.
- Preparation of lists of Australian importers, agents, and distributors, with verified contact information, systematized according to the sector of interest or requested tariff positions.
- Close coordination, through the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Tarde and Worship, with other national, provincial, and municipal government agencies in our country, for the dissemination of trade events in the consular district, reports on relevant fairs, and coordination of contacts with key local actors.
- Support at trade fairs: providing Argentine exporters with participant lists, contacts, and organization of meetings.
- Uploading commercial opportunities to the Argentina Trade Net platform, so that any Argentine economic actor can access updated, high-quality information quickly, easily, and transparently.
