Sydney Film Festival - Participation of "Puan" y Director Benjamin Naishtat

On Thursday, June 6, we attended the premiere of “Puan”, by Argentine directors  María Alché and Benjamín Naishtat, at the State Theater as part of the Sydney Film Festival. The film, winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, is part of the Festival's Official Competition, in which only 12 films participate.
 
After the screening, director Benjamín Naishtat, special guest of the Festival, participated in a round of questions and answers with the participation of the public. We were also pleased to receive his visit at the Consulate General, and together with the Cervantes Institute in Sydney, we talked about the international promotion of Argentine culture and cinema, as well as the various activities to be carried out in Australia  during his visit to country.
 
The film Púan will be screening soon at:
  • Melbourne, on Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the headquarters of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), organized by the Cervantes Institute Sydney
  • Sydney, Sunday June 16 at 4pm at the Hayden Orpheum Cremorne - Cinema 5, as part of the Sydney Film Festival
