SUR Program 2026
PROGRAMA SUR is a financial support program for translation to promote and strengthen the publication of Argentine literary works in foreign languages. Since its inception, the Program has translated more than 1,700 works into 53 languages in 58 countries.
The call for applications is currently open until August 21, 2026.
This year, the focus will be on works in the Social Sciences and Humanities (essays, literary criticism, philosophy, sociology of culture, etc.), as well as poetry, graphic novels, chronicles, and dramaturgy.
Applications must be submitted in accordance with the Regulations and Submission Form. The selected works must be published by November 30, 2027.
