On September 19th, we had the pleasure of receiving Argentine citizen, Lorraine Berrone, an English teacher, who created the "Borges for Kids" initiative, which seeks to bring Borges' works closer to boys and girls in different schools and libraries in Argentina. as well as internationally.
In this interactive meeting, young participants between 6 and 11 years old and of multiple nationalities were introduced to Argentina and the great Argentine author, exploring in a playful way the following stories: "El Tigre", "Dreamtigers", "Mi Ultimo Tigre ", "The Veiled Mirrors", "The 2 Kings and the 2 Labyrinths", and "100 Heads". The boys and girls then made drawings and wrote their own reflections and interpretations of the stories.
We thank those who accompanied us in the activity and especially Lorraine for coming with so much enthusiasm and introducing the little ones to such an important literary author of our culture in different places around the world.
